The boys play while Dad's away

Mark was fortunate to have the chance to go visit his brother, Paul, out in California for the weekend as well as attend a Packer football game in San Diego. With him being gone for 3 days my parents helped me out with keeping the kids busy.

On Saturday my Mom & Dad took the boys to see 'Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat' in the theater. It was a big hit with both of them.
Thanks Nana & Grandpa for the special outing!

Despite Dad's absence we managed (with my Mom & Dad's help again) to begin the endless task of raking of leaves and hauling them to the curb. I cringe when this time of year comes around as its several weekends of raking before its all said & done. The boys however have fun jumping in the huge piles.

Halloween 2011

The best shot of all three of them on Halloween.

Zachary as Obi Wan Kenobi (Star Wars)
Cameron as Spiderman
Lindsey as Mickey Mouse (yes, I realize its a boy's costume, but she doesn't know any different and I can still get away with repeats at this age)

The boys had a blast trick or treating & would have stayed out all night if we would have let them. Another sign they are getting older :(

20 months

Lindsey is 20 months now!

She continues to keep us on our toes. She has made great progress over the summer and early fall, especially with her development. She has been discharged from both physical therapy & occupational therapy services, which we are very pleased with.
She does continue with weekly speech therapy, which I am okay with, as we are desperate for her to take off with her talking. It can be a bit challenging at times when we don't know what she wants but she is desperately trying to tell us.

Lindsey's hair is getting long enough for little piggies. I love it!

Fall

My sister and her kids came down from Michigan for a couple of days as they were off from school and we headed out to a pumpkin patch. We had a great time despite the very chilly wind that we were not expecting.
The kids still had a great time hanging out with their cousins.

My Pre-Kindergarten-er

Cameron started his last year of pre-school. This year he is going to a pre-kindergarten program where he goes 5 mornings a week. I think its a good fit for both of us as he loves going.
Hard to imagine a year from now he will be off to Kindergarten. Time is going quickly for him & me.

First Soccer season as a pre-kindergarten-er.
He couldn't wait to start. He did great at his first game & almost scored twice

Labor Day Weekend

We spent Labor Day weekend visiting Mark's Mom & Day. The weather wasn't the greatest but the kids didn't seem to mind. They still had a great time playing at the beach.

Its always a great way for us to end the summer with one final trip to the beach.

We made it to the top!

Eagle River

We bravely tackled our first major vacation to Eagle River, Wisconsin this summer (w/o grandparents that is) and had a great time. We lucked out with a great week of weather with only one rainy day. We rented a cottage/cabin for a week and managed to pack in a ton of stuff : boating, fishing, endless hours of swimming & jumping off the raft, biking, eating, campfires, mini golf, go carting, etc... The boys had a blast and are already asking to go back next year. We took a ton of pictures but here are a few of my favorites.

Feel like this picture captures our week. Low key, relaxing, & warm weather of whole-some family fun :)

Everywhere we went we came across Green Bay Packer stuff. The boys thought it was pretty cool as did Mark too.

Containing Lindsey in the pack n play on the boat. She didn't seem to mind too much

Zachary spent hours perfecting his diving skills off the raft.
